Kenya Lionesses Head Coach Felix Oloo has named his starting team of 23 players who will face South Africa Women Boks on Saturday 17th August in the 2021 World Cup decider-match.
The Lionesses beat Madagscar 35-5 and Uganda Lady Cranes 37-5 in their first two matches while Women Boks beat Uganda 89-5 and Madagascar 73-0 on their way to this last match. The eventual winner will have an earned their direct qualification to the World Cup that’ll be held in New Zealand.
Three changes have been made to the starting side that beat Uganda on Tuesday; Veronicah Wanjiku who started off the bench will kick off this match as the starting scrumhalf. Imogen Hooper comes in as the loose head Prop linking up with Juliet Nyambura and Staycy Atieno making up the powerful front row.
The third change sees Sheila Chajira start as a flank in the match. She was devastating in against the Lady Cranes as she made her way through the defenders severally as the Lionesses handed them a 5-37 loss.
