Zimbabwe jet into the country on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup fixture against hosts Kenya at the RFUEA Ground. The Sables began their campaign with a 23-23 draw at home to Morocco on Saturday 16 June while the Simbas defeated the same opponent, posting a 28-24 win in Casablanca this past Saturday.
This is Zimbabwe’s first visit to Nairobi in seven years, their last encounter ending in a 26-21 win over the Simbas at the Nyayo Stadium on 23 July 2011.
