Defending Champions Top Fry Nakuru ladies are top seeds as this year’s Women’s festival kicks off on 9th February at the Kenyatta University grounds. Nakuru won three of the total five legs: The first one held at the Kenyatta University Grounds, the fourth one held at the Impala Grounds and the fifth leg held at the Nakuru Athletics Club. StanChart Impala Ladies won the second leg that was held at the KCB Sports Club Ruaraka while Homeboyz Ladies won the third leg at the RFUEA Grounds.
Nakuru headline’s pool A where they’ll face Shamas Rugby Foundation and the Kisumu Dolphins who had a great first year in the league in 2019.
Runners up and the ever so exciting Standard Chattered Impala ladies are in pool B alongside Northern Suburbs and COMRAS while Homeboyz ladies, Stanbic Mwamba ladies and Kenyatta University’s Blad Babes make up pool C.
This year’s festival will have the usual five legs and the overall winner will be determined based on the total points accumulated along the way.

Once the pool matches are completed, all teams will be ranked based on their performance. The top four teams will advance to the Cup semifinals while the other five will face off in the 5th place and 7th place ranking matches.
