With the conclusion of the Stanbic Bank National Sevens Circuit, focus now shifts to the 15s season that kicks off with the Impala Floodlit Tournament.
A total of 23 teams will be competing in this year’s event from the 28th September to the 12th of October. The draw done on 20th September pits the defending Champions KCB against Blakblad in the quarterfinal stage. Nondies will face the Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC, hosts Resolution Impala Saracens will be taking on the Menengai Oilers while the Kenya Harlequins meet Top Fry Nakuru RFC.
The Varsity category sees Mean Machine take on Daystar Falcons as USIU meets Swara. The last two quarterfinals in this category see KCA brave for CUEA as Strathmore Leos play TUK.
The Schools’ category defending champions Ofafa Jericho get a bye and will kick off their #Floodies2019 campaign in the semifinal stage on the 5th of October. The other three pairings see Lenana take on St. Mary’s, Alliance High School will face off against Muhuri Muchiri while The Nairobi school meets Sunshine.
