Shujaa closed out the Singapore 7s in 10th place following a 10-26 loss to Spain in the 9th place playoff on Sunday afternoon.
Alvin Otieno and Edmund Anya scored unconverted tries for the team.
It was Spain who went ahead through tries from Nicolas Nieto and Jaime Mata who added two conversions before Otieno’s unconverted effort for the 14-5 lead at the break.
Further tries from Manu Moreno and Alejandro Lafogo with one Mata conversion took the score to 26-5 before Anya landed Shujaa’s try at the death.
