The quarterfinal pairings at the Prinsloo 7s are now complete after the conclusion of pool play at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday 9 July 2022.

Top seeds Homeboyz were Pool A winners and led seven other teams in competing for the cup title on Sunday after registering three wins in their three outings. They started with a 24-0 win over Western Bulls before easing past Kabras ( 17-5) and Catholic Monks (24-15) in their subsequent pool matches.

Also making the cup quarters from this pool was Kabras Sugar by virtue of a second place finish.

Menengai Oilers and KCB proceeded top of pools B and C despite losing their final matches, the Oilers going down 12-10 to Pool B runners up Masinde Muliro while Nondescripts stunned KCB 19-15 in Pool C but failed to make the quarters. Joining KCB in the last eight is Kenya Harlequin.

Strathmore Leos and Mwamba qualified from Pool D. The Leos topped the pool after defeating Mwamba 12-7 in their final pool fixture.
