Lugulu successfully defended the Webuye MTM crown with a 21-5 win over Webuye II in the final of the two day tournament which was played on 26th and 27th December in Webuye.
They reached the final with a 26-0 semifinal win over Bungoma Select while Webuye II edged out Butere 12-0 in the other semifinal.
The tournament,a popular fixture in the festive season calendar in Webuye attracted 15 teams including hosts Webuye who fielded two sides, Wazalendo, Kimilili, Nalondo, CFG Bungoma, Lugulu, Mbale, Bwake, Butere, Malava, Bungoma Select, Mumias, Ndalu and Bukembe.
