The Kenya Lioness dropped to the Dubai7s Challenge Trophy having lost all their day one matches.
In the first match, they lost 7-34 to the Glendale Champions, New Zealand. Grace Adhiambo scored Kenya’s solitary try in this match and she added the conversion.

At 3:24pm they played Ireland and despite their improved skill set and defense drills, Ireland proved to be the better team beating them 27-12. Janet “Shebesh” Okello opened up the scores with a well worked try giving the Lionesses a 7 point lead before Emily Murphy dotted down three tries for the Irish with one being converted successfully. Captain Philadelphia Orlando landed the Lionesses second and final try in this match before Eve Higgins scored a brace handing Ireland the 27-12 win.
Their last pool Match had Russia land three tries across the Lionesses try line in the second half and two successful conversions beating the lionesses 19-00.
Lionesses will play Spain in the Challenge Trophy Semi Final at 9:50am EAT and the winner of this match will play he winner of the Fiji – China match in the Challenge Trophy Final at 3:24pm EAT.
