The Kenya Rugby Union recently held an age grade rugby activity on Friday 21 October 2022 at Ngecho Primary School in Gilgil, Nakuru County.
The activity drew a total of 32 participants (10 boys and 22 girls) from Grade 5 who engaged in a mixed rugby friendly match.
Commenting on the activity, KRU Regional Development Officer Victor Oduor said, “ It was necessary to give these kids playing time as most of the attention was on the U14 and U18. Our main focus is for them to have fun while applying the basic skills that they have been coached. We are looking forward to more friendlies among schools so that we can give the kids more playing time.”
“It was great to have our visitors from DEB, and for the next friendly we will visit them,” added the Ngecho games master.
