Menengai Oilers and Mean Machine stayed unbeaten after Saturday’s KRU Championship action.
All indicators to the clash between Oilers and Western Bulls was that this was going to be a tough encounter but it was the Nakuru based side who got the better of their Kakamega based rivals, breaking the Bulls unbeaten record with a 26-8 win at the Moi Showground in Nakuru.

The Catholic Monks bounced back from a spell of patchy form, defeating USIU 25-15 in Karen as the Egerton Wasps edged out University of Eldoret 15-7 in Njoro.
Ngong Warriors registered a 14-5 win over visiting South Coast Pirates. Kisumu benefitted from a 24-0 walkover following Moi University’s no-show in Kisumu.
