A cross section of stakeholders will meet at the RFUEA Ground on Saturday 22 July 2017 to deliberate fixtures for the 2017/18 season.
The participants will be drawn from the Kenya Rugby Union, club representatives, match officials and members of the Kenya Sevens technical bench and apart from deliberating the fixtures, will be taken through presentations from match officials as well a plan by Shujaa Head Coach Innocent Simiyu on the team’s plan for the new season.
The outcomes of this meeting will be key in forming the basis for the new season’s fixtures, coming at a time when the Simbas will focus their attentions on RWC 2019 qualification with Shujaa aiming at a positive showing at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast and the 2017/18 Sevens World Series.
