Kenyan match officials Victor Oduor, Justus Ngoche, James Absaloms, Godwin Karuga and Johnbosco Muamba have been selected for Rugby Africa Gold Cup duty in Officiating and Citing roles. KRU Chairman Richard Omwela will also serve as a Judicial Officer during this tournament which runs from 16 June to 18 August.
Oduor will serve as an Assistant referee during the tournament opener between Zimbabwe and Morocco in Harare on 16 June.
He will also serve in the same capacity during the clash between Uganda and Morocco in Kampala on 11 August and the Uganda-Zimbabwe fixture a week later in the Ugandan capital city.
Muamba, Ngoche and Absaloms will serve as Citing Commissioners. Muamba will oversee the Zimbabwe-Morocco fixture in Harare on 16 June with Ngoche serving in this capacity and Karuga taking charge of match commissioner duties during the Namibia-Tunisia match in Windhoek on 23 June.Absaloms will be on duty during Zimbabwe’s two fixtures at home to Namibia on 4 August and away to Uganda a week later.
