There has only been one previous encounter between Kenya and Senegal played in the North zone semifinal of the 2009 Africa Cup in Safi, Morocco. The Simbas triumphed 22-7 in the encounter played on 8 July 2009 but lost the final 11-29 to Morocco three days later.
The two sides will meet for the second time at 2.00pm at Nairobi’s RFUEA Ground in an Rugby Africa Gold Cup encounter.
Kenya come into this fixture off the back of a 100-10 win over Tunisia while Senegal were on the receiving end of a 95-0 whitewash away to Namibia.
