The Kenya Simba is bound to  hit camp ahead of the Elgon Cup which shall be happening in Uganda on 2nd November 2024 in Kampala Uganda.The mercurial Jone Kubu returns to the squad after missing out on the 2024 Rugby Africa Cup.The squad features a versatile combination featuring selections from various teams.

Head Coach Jerome Paarwater has retained his training squad that was active during the preparation for the Rugby Africa Cup. The other change in the squad is that of Bryceson Adaka who will miss out on this Elgon Cup after sustaining an injury a few months ago while following World Rugby amendment Regulation 8 that focuses on National Team eligibility, Ntabeni Dukisa can now represent the country.

The team is scheduled to have a residential camp in Kakamega ahead of their departure to Uganda where the first match will be played at the Kingspark Arena. Kenya will then host the return leg on 9th November.
