The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) is proud to announce the appointment of Nisha Van Hoek, a Board Director and Chair of the Communication and PR Committee, as the new Co-Chair of Women’s Rugby. Nisha will be serving alongside Hon. John Kilonzo in this critical role.
Nisha’s extensive experience in communication and leadership, combined with her passion for promoting women in sports, makes her ideally suited to drive the growth and development of women’s rugby in Kenya. Her appointment signals KRU’s continued commitment to advancing women’s participation at all levels of the sport.
Together with Hon. John Kilonzo, Nisha will work closely with stakeholders to expand the reach of women’s rugby, enhance opportunities for female athletes, and ensure that Kenya’s women rugby teams continue to perform at the highest level on the global stage.
KRU welcomes Nisha Van Hoek in her new capacity and looks forward to the exciting progress that she and Hon. Kilonzo will spearhead in the women’s rugby space.
