The Kenya Rugby Referees Association were presented with a kit donation from World Flair on Wednesday 10th March at the RFUEA Grounds by Herbert Mwachiro, the World Flair representative in East Africa.
Speaking at the presentation event, Mr. Mwachiro said, “We’re happy today to present this kit to the KRRA. It is also important to ensure that we don’t leave our referees out in ensuring they are also well equipped and kitted as they carry out their duties on the pitch. This is just the start of this partnership and we’re looking forward to doing even bigger things and taking up bigger roles to ensure with them in the Kenya Cup, KRU Championship, Nationwide, and all other matches in the Kenya Rugby calendar.”
The KRRA Secretary-General Alfred Okwemba thanked World Flair through their East African representatives and the Kenya Rugby Union as a whole for the thoughtful gesture. “As an association, we’re very grateful for this partnership and we’re looking forward to having all our match officials donning this kit for the entire season and beyond.”
The season enters match day three this Saturday with a double header at Impala Grounds with Mwamba taking on Blakblad as Impala Saracens hosts Kenya Harlequins. Away in Nakuru, Top Fry Nakuru welcomes Menengai Oilers to the Nakuru Athletic Club in the Nakuru derby.
