Kenya Lionesses Set for Crucial Challenger Series Leg as HSBC Dream Edges Closer

Having dominated the opening two legs of the World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series, the Kenya Lionesses head into the final leg with confidence and determination. The team has been drawn into Pool A, where they will face Belgium, Colombia, and Thailand as they seek to secure a place in the high-stakes playoffs in Los Angeles.

With an unbeaten run in the first two legs, the Lionesses have firmly positioned themselves as strong contenders for HSBC Series qualification.  Now, with everything to play for, the Lionesses are keen to maintain their winning momentum and cement their place among the world’s elite.

The top four teams from this decisive leg will advance to the playoffs in Los Angeles, where they will battle for a coveted spot in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Speaking ahead of this leg, the head coach, Dennis Mwanja, emphasized the importance of focus and execution. “We have worked hard to be in this position, and now it’s about finishing the job. The players understand what’s at stake, and we are ready to give our all.”
