The Kenya Lionesses have been invited to the penultimate round of the 2019/2020 HSBC Women’s World Sevens Series slated for 2nd and 3rd May 2020, the Langford 7s in Canada.
The Ladies received this invite from World Rugby as it is going to play a huge role in their preparation for the Olympics later in the year. The Lionesses were runners-up in the Africa Women 7s tournament but they earned their Olympics slot for the second time running.
Before they head to Langford, they will compete in the Invitational Hong Kong 7s tournament which doubles up as the HSBC Women7s Series Qualifiers in April.
The team resumed their training on 6th January in preparation for these assignments.
