The Kenya Rugby Union has officially released the pool for the fifth leg of the 2024Sportpesa7s circuit, the Driftwood 7s. The tournament will take place on the 7th and 8th September at the Mombasa Sports Club.
The Kabeberi 7s winners, KCB are headlining Pool A in the Division and they are joined by MMUST RFC, KU BlakBlad and the tournament hosts, Mombasa RFC. In Pool B, Menengai Oilers will meet Daystar Falcons, Nondescript RC and coast based team, TUM Marines.
The Circuit leaders Kenya Harlequin FC are in Pool C, they are pooled alongside Kabras RFC who are second on the overall log. Nakuru RFC and Mwamba RFC complete the Pool C teams while Pool D comprises of three varsity sides; Catholic Monks, Strathmore Leos and Zetech Oaks with Stallions Rugby completing the Pool.

The Division Two category comprises of 20 teams that will be competing in the tournament as Pooled below:
MKU Thika who dropped from Division One category after the Kabeberi Sevens will headline Pool A while the 2024 Sportpesa 7s Division Two leaders Kabarak University are top of Pool B after falling 0-45 to Zetech Oaks in the Kabeberi 7s Division Two Final match.

Pool B: Kabarak University, Ngong Warriors, Makueni Rfc, Kilifi Titans
Pool C: Northern Suburbs, Kenya Prisons, MKU Nairobi, Kenya National Coast Polytechnic
Pool D: AP Warriors, JKUAT, Molo Rfc, Gede Rfc
Pool E: Embu RFC, NYS Spades, USIU A, Dedan Kimathi
