Kenya Sevens legend Humphrey Kayange is the new National Olympic Committee of Kenya male athlete representative after being elected unopposed at the organization’s elections held on Friday 29 September 2017 in Nairobi.
Kayange, who captained Shujaa to the semifinal at the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai and also featured for the team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will serve alongside current women’s 5000m champion Hellen Obiri who also claimed the female representative’s position unopposed.
