The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) will host a World Rugby level two coaching workshop in Kakamega on 6th and 7th November 2021.
George Ndemi, the KRU Training and Education Co-ordinator said, “Through the various pre-requisites that the workshop attendants have studying during their course, we aim to develop coaching capability and technical knowledge for coaching personnel in Kenya.”
The workshop which will see new coaches acquire Level two accreditation will touch on several pre-requisities, notably –

- Rugby Ready
- First Aid
- Laws of the game
- Concussion management for general public
- Key Factors Analysis
- Functional Role Analysis
- Introduction to coaching
- SnC for Children
- SnC for Youth
- SnC for Adult
- Covid 19 – Admin/player
- Introduction to coaching
