The independent judicial panel, hearing was convened under a referral by the KRU on the 11th of May 2024, on a misconduct complaint arising from a letter written by the Tournament Director Mike Mwanja alleging verbal abuse of match officials by Max Adaka (Head Coach Kabras Buffaloes Franchise)
After careful deliberation, it has been determined and is satisfied that on a balance of probabilities, acts of misconduct were committed by both Max Adaka- the head coach of Kabras Buffaloes, and the club itself.
Given the provisional suspension already served, the conduct during the hearing, and no evidence of a previous misconduct record, the Judicial Officer reduces the suspension by forty percent (40%), resulting in a reduced suspension to twelve (12) weeks from the effective date i.e 28th June 2024. This reduction is conditional on the 1st Person not being in breach of Regulation 20 during this period. Should the Persons be found in breach during this period, the sanction shall be applied in full.
The Judicial Officer presiding over this hearing was George Mbaye.
