The Kenya Rugby Union has received the Presidential announcement on full support of the national rugby teams with much gratitude.
The KRU has been in deep engagement with government over what is KRU’s single largest cost item.
“This is excellent news! We are hopeful that with this endorsement at the highest government level, the payments will be regular,” said Richard Omwela, the KRU chairman.
“This should allow us improve player welfare and the competitiveness of the teams. We will then spend more money on club subsidies and development projects”
