The George Mwangi Kabeberi7s hosts Stanbic Mwamba completed the tournament double to lift the Division One and Two Trophies at the Kinoru Stadium in Meru. They beat the Menengai Oilers 27-7.
On their way to the final, Kulabu outplayed KCB RC in the semifinal beating them 21-7 while the Oilers 12-7 win over the Top Fry Nakuru secured their slot in the tournament’s final. Steve Sikuta opened up the scores as he bulldozed his way to the try line giving Kulabu an early 5-0 lead that was quickly complemented by Tony Omondi’s and Billy Odhiambo’s tries. All conversions drifted wide for a 15-0 half time score.
Collins Injera’s left his defenders for dead at the restart of the second half to extend Mwamba’s lead to 20-7. The Menengai Oilers quickly responded as one Austin Sikutwa opened up Kulabu’s defense line and made his way to the try box narrowing the gap to 20-7. One of the Tournament’s top try scorers Billy Odhiambo landed his brace with Injera adding the extras for a 27-7 full time score. Stanbic Mwamba adding a trophy to their cabinet.
Stanbic Mwamba’s Team Two alias “Vumbi” edged out a determined Vihiga Granites 10-7 in the Division Two final to lift the trophy.
Top Fry Nakuru finished third after beating the KCB RC 17-12 in the Bronze match, Menengai Cream Homeboyz beat Nondies 12-0 to lift the fifth place trophy. Resolution Impala Saracens were the Kabeberi7s Challenge Trophy Winners as Kenya Harlequins won the 13th place trophy.
Resolution Impala Saracens, Blakblad RC, Mean Machine and the Strathmore Leos secured their slot in the Division One category as they beat their opponents Catholic Monks, Egerton Wasps, Meru RFC and Kenya Harlequins in the Challenge Trophy quarterfinals.

In the Cup quarterfinals, hosts Stanbic Mwamba cruised into the semifinals after a 43-0 win over the Northern Suburbs Cubs. Mwamba meets KCB RC in the second cup semifinal, the Bankers beat the Menengai Cream Homeboyz 12-5 in their quarterfinal fixture.
The first Cup semifinal pits Top Fry Nakuru against the Menengai Oilers. Nakuru beat Nondies 15-12 in their quarterfinal encounter while Oilers shut Masinde Muliro University out of the semifinal with a 19-00 win.
