” We want to give our best!” These were the words of Simbas fly half Kenny Andola when Kenya Rugby caught up with him and the rest of the squad during training at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Friday 28 July 2017.
Andola first recapped this season’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup campaign, saying, ” It has been quite an interesting season…an eye opener…and the results we have got show that the guys within the squad are learning very well and we are looking forward to even better results moving forward.”
Talking about the team’s build up to Saturday’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup decider against Namibia in Windhoek, Andola said, ” The preparation has been good…this is way different in terms of team spirit and tactical approach. We have more options…we have confidence…we are aiming for a win and want to play the best rugby based on how we have prepared.
His message to the fans, ” We promise we are going to play our best…play very good rugby and aim for results. ”
