The Kenya Rugby Union’s efforts to further the growth and development of the sport of rugby continued with an age grade rugby festival in Bungoma town on the weekend of 23rd and 24th September 2022.
KRU Regional Development Officer Shirley Anindo, who organized this festival said, “Age grade rugby, tag rugby in particular, is loved and embraced by the younger players and this was an opportunity to get more of them to have a taste of the game.”
“The turnout was good and I must say the festival was a success. It was also a pleasant learning experience for both the new players and the coach,” she concluded.
