Ben Mahinda, a certified World Rugby Medical Educator and the physiotherapist for the National Women’s Teams will be conducting a First Aid In Rugby course in Ghana from the 18th to 22nd February 2020. The course will be in Accra Ghana.
The invite came from Rugby Africa, the governing body of rugby across the African continent. “To be selected amongst many educators is proof that Rugby Africa is confident in the Kenya Rugby Union as having the ability and capacity to support the Ghana Federation,” said Mahinda.
In his role as the Kenya Lionesses’ physiotherapist, Ben regularly conducts medical courses with the team ensuring they know what to do in order to prevent injuries and/or manage them.
