In Week 15 of the KRU Championship, Kisumu RFC beat Western Bulls 9-8 at the Bull Ring while log leaders Catholic Monks lost 3-8 to third placed USIU RFC.
Monks however remain top of the table with 54 points while Western Bulls retain their second place position with 51 points. The two picked up a losing bonus point each. They are closely followed by USIU who now have 49 points while Kisumu RFC has 41 points. MMUST and Kisii complete the top six teams; MMUST beat Kitale 17-3 while Kisii handed University of Eldoret a 14-3 loss bringing their tally to 38 and 32 points respectively.
The Coast Region sides South Coast Pirates and Regional Logistics Mombasa RFC beat their opponents Ngong Warriors and Egerton Wasps 23-0 and 31-0 respectively.
