A recap of the first five match days: Kabras remain the only unbeaten team in the league and have picked up all the bonus points. On 24th November, Nondescript RFC ended KCB’s unbeaten run beating them 27-22 at the KCB Sports Club while in Nakuru, the Menengai Oilers bagged their first win of the season beating Kenya Harlequins 14-8. Stanbic Mwamba halted Nondies winning streak on week four with a 13-12 win at the Jamhuri Showgrounds on 8th December. Heading to week 5, Impala and Kabras the only unbeaten sides were facing off in Kakamega and a 41-10 win saw Kabras remain at the top.

This weekend, the Kenya Cup double header will be at the RFUEA Grounds as Kenya Harlequins and Top Fry Nakuru face off at 2:00pm followed by the Resolution Impala Saracens vs Nondescripts RFC match at 4:00pm. Second place KCB hosts the Mean Machine at the den. Machine have won one of their first five matches and lost four while KCB’s record is the exact opposite – winning four and losing one.
Menengai Oilers, who are ranked tenth on the Kenya Cup log will head to Kakamega for their clash against Kabras Sugar RFC. Strathmore Leos kick off 2019 with a fixture against Stanbic Mwamba RFC in Madaraka. The Leos are yet to claim a win this season but have secured a bonus in three of the five losses while Stanbic Mwamba will be out to get their third consecutive win. Mwamba are seventh on the log. The sixth fixture will have Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC host Blakblad RFC, the two are ranked 8th and 9th with two wins and three losses each.
