The Standard Chartered Impala Saracens Ladies lifted the trophy this weekend during the Impala Women’s 7s tournament. The hosts kicked off the campaign with a solid 38-0 thumping of the Northern Suburbs as eventual runners up Homeboyz Ladies handed Mwamba ladies a 17-0 loss immediately after.
These senior teams took a break as the Juniors took to the pitch in a round robin format. The five teams in the schools category were Moonlight, Hidden Talent Academy, Comras, Coras 2 and Maono. The results were as follows:

Hidden Talent Academy emerged top while Comras was the runners up.
In the seniors semifinal, Homeboyz RFC beat Northern Suburbs 29-0 while Standard Chartered Impala Ladies beat Mwamba RFC 17 – 0. The finals saw Judith Auma land a try for Impala with Ann Koki adding the extras, Homeboyz RFC leveled up the scores as Shariffa Chiringa dotted down her sides try and added the conversions for the half time scores to read 7-7. Second half Christabel Lindo landed the winning try for the hosts but the conversion sailed wide. Impala going home with a 12-7 win.
As the curtains fell on the tournament, Judith Auma stood out as the MVP.
Stella Wafula and Christabel Lindo tied as the top try scorers with four tries each.
Mwamba RFC’s Sarah Oluche received the Top Point accolade with 18 points in total.
