The Stanbic Bank National Sevens Circuit that kicked off with Prinsloo7s saw Resolution Kisii RFC reclaim their slot in Division one of the Circuit as they beat Egerton Wasps 5-0. The final ended in a 0-0 full time score resulting in a sudden death where Kisii were the first side to touch down and crown their outing with a promotion to the top Division.
They advanced to the Cup quarterfinals having won two of their pool matches and drawing one. They beat Bungoma 40-0, proceeded to register a 26-5 win over KCAA Stormers before ending their day one matches with a 22 all tie with Kiambu.
The Day two ranking saw them paired up with Northern Suburbs who they beat 10-5 on their way to the Cup Final where they beat Masinde Muliro University 21-5 booking a date with Egerton, the other finalist.
Egerton registered 100% win record on day one. In their Quarterfinal pairing with Makueni, they narrowly shut them out of the cup semi finals with a 7-5 scoreline. In the semi final, Egerton beat Comras 7-0 securing the finals slot where they lost to the eventual Champions.
Citam Kisumu lifted their award as they beat Nakuru KITI 21 -5 in the 13th place final. Their win was followed by Northern Suburbs securing the 5th place title as they edged Makueni out with a 7-0 win.
