Kiambu have been declared the Nationwide Central Regional champions after MKU Thika forfeited the result of Saturday’s 25-14 final win in Juja.
MKU Thika were found guilty of fielding an ineligible player and will now play away to Coast Region winnner Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) for a berth in the National quarterfinal while Kiambu earn direct qualification to the quarters.
