Kenya Shujaa have gone unbeaten after two days of the 2024 Safari Sevens action held at the Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on the 11th and 12th October with the final date slated for Sunday 13th October.
They kicked off their day one with a 24-14 victory over Lions’ rugby in what was the closing match. On day two, of the tournament, Shujaa kicked off the day with a resounding 40-0 victory over Qatar Rugby, they secured their third pool match win by beating Varsity Select 44-0 before securing a last-minute victory over a very spirited Zimbabwe side.
Shogun impressed with their performance over the first two days securing three victories and a draw, Kenya Morans had a cold and hot performance registering two wins, a loss and a draw.
In the ladies category, the title defenders Uganda Lady Cranes, Costa Blanca Barbarians and Shogun Ladies have had the best outing as they all have secured three wins and a draw in the first two days while the Kenya Lionesses have two wins, one wdraw and a loss. Uganda 2 has one win, one draw and two losses while Kenya Cubs are yet to secure a win.
