Upper Hill Secures 2024 Prescott Cup Championship in Hard-Fought Battle
Upper Hill emerged as the champions of the 2024 Prescott Cup in a thrilling final held at the RFUEA Grounds. The match, marked by intense competition and strategic play, saw Upper Hill clinch victory over Rift Valley Academy (RVA) with a final score of 15-10.
RVA drew first blood, taking an early lead with a successful conversion that energized them and set a challenging tone for Upper Hill. However, Upper Hill quickly responded by capitalizing on RVA’s infringements, adding three points to the scoreboard and maintaining their competitive edge. Just before the end of the first half, Upper Hill broke through RVA’s defenses, scoring their first try. Although the conversion was unsuccessful, they went into halftime trailing by just one point.
