The Kenya U18 girls’ national rugby sevens team to the Commonwealth Youth Games taking place from August 4-11 in Trinidad and Tobago was named on Thursday 27 July 2023 by Head Coach Sarah Agola.
The Young Lionesses will compete against hosts Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Wales, Australia and Fiji at the rugby sevens competition which runs between 6th and 8th August on a round robin format that will see the teams ranked 1st and 2nd at the close of pool competing for the gold medal. The teams in 3rd and 4th will battle for the bronze medal while the last two teams will compete for 5th place.
