South Coast Pirates registered their first win of the season as the KRU Championship headed into the Christmas break, beating visiting Catholic Monks 31-24 in a pulsating fixture played Saturday in Ukunda.
The University of Eldoret edged Kisumu 13-10 in the other fixture played in Eldoret. The fixture between JKUAT Cougars and Ngong Warriors will be played Sunday in Juja while the Oilers-Egerton, Bulls-Moi and USIU-Machine matches were postponed.
