Shujaa have been placed in Pool C for the third round of the Sevens World Series in Cape Town, South Africa from 9-11 December 2022.
The side is up against New Zealand, Argentina and Spain.
The team garnered 5 points from the just concluded Dubai 7s, a result that sees them climb up one place on the season standing to 14th with 6 points.
Meanwhile, Tony Omondi led the Shujaa point scorers in Dubai with 17 points ( 6 conversions and 1 try) while Billy Odhiambo was second on 15 points , having scored 3 tries.
The quartet of Dennis Abukuse, Herman Humwa, Kevin Wekesa and Nelson Oyoo were joint third with 10 points, having scored 2 tries apiece with Willy Ambaka ( 5 points) and Daniel Taabu (2 points) round off Shujaa’s point scorers in Dubai.
Overall, the team scored 13 tries in Dubai.
