The second leg of the KRU Women’s Festival kicks will be held tomorrow at the Impala Grounds from 10:00 am. As was the case in the first leg of the Festival, we shall have two tiers in place. Tier one comprises of the senior and more experienced sides; Leaders Yamanashi Impala, Mwamba, and Northern Suburbs while Tier two hosts the upcoming teams namely: Ruckit Queens, Kisumu Dolphins, Kitengela Sharks, Twiga RPS, and Shamas Rugby Foundation.
The matches will kick off with Shamas facing the newest kids on the block, Kitengela Sharks followed by Yamanashi Impala Ladies taking on Northern Suburbs at 10:25 am.
The tournament will take on the round robin format just like in the first round. The winners of both tiers will be determined on a points basis i.e. the team with the most points wins the tournament.
