The Nakuru Athletic Club will host the first leg of the KRU Women’s Festival on Sunday 28th February and a total of six teams will be participating in the one-day tournament.
Top seeds Impala Ladies headline Pool A where they’re joined by the Kisumu Dolphins and the Ruckit Queens while Pool B sees Kulabu ladies take on hosts Nakuru combined- which features players from both Top Fry Nakuru RFC and Egerton Hornets while the University of Eldoret completes this pool.
Matches will kick off at 10:00 am and are expected to run until 3:00 pm so as to give all teams ample time to get back home. Once the pool matches are done, the teams will be ranked based on the total points gathered and the top two teams will face off in the semifinals whereas the last teams in the pools will meet in the ranking final.

There will be no fans allowed to the venue and all participants are expected to have their masks on at all times with an exemption of the players who will be on the pitch at any given point.
