On this Madaraka Day Eve, the Kenya Rugby Union wishes to thank His Excellency the President Uhuru Kenyatta, through the Ministry of Sports Culture and Heritage, for stepping in with a stimulus pack for our National Team Players and Management who have been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
Given that they rely wholly on their National Team engagements for sustenance, they have proved especially vulnerable at this time and we are grateful for the release of the much-needed support to them and their families.
We are grateful to Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohammed, PS Joe Okudo, and the entire team at the Ministry for coming through for our athletes at this time and look forward to continued support as the situation persists.
