Following the conclusion of two sets of trials over the past fortnight, the Simba technical bench has settled on a 35 man squad to do duty during the 2018 Rugby Africa Gold Cup which serves as Africa’s qualifying round for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
The squad includes fourteen players who could potentially make their debut this season including Patrick Ouko, Malcolm Onsando, Andrew Chogo, Dalmus Chituyi,Peter Misango,Xavier Kipngetich,Max Kang’eri,Zeden Marrow, Edmund Anya, Nelson Nyandat, Coleman Were, Felix Ayange, Mohammed Omollo and Joseph Odero.
Dennis Karani,George Asin, Steve Otieno, Peter Waitere,Mike Wanjala,Nato Simiyu,Levi Amunga, Johnstone Mungau, Dennis Muhanji and Aggrey Kitoi do not make the final squad.
