Title: KSSSA Introduces Girls’ 15s Rugby, Regional Champions Set for Nationals
The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) has included Girls’ 15s rugby in its calendar, marking a significant step in school sports. Regional competitions saw schools vie for a coveted spot in the national championships.
Champions emerged from various regions, showcasing remarkable talent and determination. Kinale Girls clinched the title in the Central region, while Hidden Talent emerged victorious in Nairobi. Madira Girls triumphed in the Western region, with Paul Harris dominating the Coastal region. St. Joseph Girls Kitale secured their place from the Rift Valley, Kivandini Girls from the Eastern region, and Kisumu Girls represented the Nyanza region.
The Nationals, scheduled from April 8th to 13th, 2024, will be hosted at Machakos Boys High School, promising an electrifying display of talent and sportsmanship. The participating teams have been grouped as follows:
