The Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed the dates for the 2024 Safari 7s.

This yearโ€™s tournament will run from 11-13 October in Nairobi. The Safari 7s was first held in 1996 and has since grown in popularity, attracting top rugby talent and large crowds of enthusiastic fans. Over the years, it has become more than just a sporting event, encompassing a vibrant festival atmosphere with music, food, and cultural celebrations.

Meanwhile, the KRU 7, which serves as the second round of the 2024 Sportpesa National 7s Circuit will be hosted by Kabras Sugar at the Kakamega Showground on 3-4 August.

The tournament unfolds through a series of six events, scattered across six cities and towns in Kenya.

Teams engage in competition, each vying for the Sportpesa National Sevens Circuit overall title.

Points are accrued based on their finishing positions in these tournaments, ultimately determining the seasonโ€™s circuit champion.
