Kenya Face Scotland In HK7s Challenge Trophy Final

A 24-5 win over Russia saw Shujaa progress to the Hong Kong Sevens Challenge Trophy final at the Hong Kong  Stadium on Sunday afternoon. They will face Scotland at 12.30pm EAT Dennis Ombachi would pluck the ball from the air after kick off, creating an attacking platform for Shujaa would eventually touched down through Billy Odhiambo, Sammy Oliech adding the extras for a 7-0 score. 

Andrew Amonde would make a try saving tackle as Russia attacked, secure the ball and on the offload release Frank Wanyama who sprinted about forty meters clear. He delivered the ball to Billy Odhiambo who set up Brian Tanga for the try, Oliech missing the conversion with the scores at 12-0.Wanyama would land his fourth try of the weekend and Shujaa’s third moments to half time, 17-0 at the break.

Oliech would then convert Dennis Ombachi’s try before the Russians grabbed a late consolation through Dmitri Kapalin, 24-5 at full time.
